Music Maze is a series of fun, creative, participatory workshops for children aged 8–11. Most workshops are linked to performances by BCMG. Children do not need to play a musical instrument to take part. Children can also work towards their Arts Award Explore as part of Music Maze. For more information click here.

In the workshops, participants create music from scratch inspired by music featured in upcoming BCMG concerts.

  4. Online Lecture - Miniature Motorists: Transport Toys in the Science & Industry Collection
    In this lecture, Felicity McWilliams will showcase a beautiful collection of (mostly) tinplate transport toys in the museum's collection, from mail delivery vans to land speed record cars. Featuring important Birmingham manufacturers as well as those from further afield, it will explore what these toys can tell us about children's changing technological, educational and social lives.
