Those looking for a tasty alternative to turkey will be delighted to hear that Vietnamese Street Kitchen has launched a lip-smakcing festive menu to celebrate the season.
The family owned independent has two sites, Bullring and Resorts World and is on a mission to put some flavour into the festivities - whether you’re enjoying a Christmas meal for two or an office Christmas party.
Groups of four or more can select the festive banquet menu at £32.99 per person including crackers and prawn crackers, ‘snacks’ including turkey spring rolls and chicken skewers, followed by a selection of sharing plates such as the lemongrass beef curry and salt and chilli king prawns and sides of rice and noodles. Desserts include the tempting chocolate brownie or cheesecake.
Alternatively guests can select from the Christmas menu with two courses for £27.95 or three courses for £30.95 – both of which include a drink – choose from the Spiced Wonderland Cocktail made with Bounty rum, spiced apple and pears and plum bitters, the Jingle Juice Mocktail or a glass of prosecco.
A wide variety of delicious dishes are available to choose from including bao buns, spare ribs, Pho bowls, crispy belly pork and lemongrass chilli chicken.
Those with dietary requirements haven’t been forgotten with vegetarian, vegan and halal options all available.
Owner, Oliver Ngo is hoping that people will think beyond the traditional Christmas turkey when planning their celebrations: “It often falls to one poor person in the office or family to arrange a festive get together – and it’s impossible to please everyone!
“I’m hoping that what we’ve created here at Vietnamese Street Kitchen might provide a more inspiring option which gets people a little more excited about their Christmas party.”
