Colmore Business Improvement District (Colmore BID) has confirmed that the Colmore Food Festival will return to Victoria Square on Friday 4 and Saturday 5 July 2025.

The highly anticipated, multi award-winning Food Festival is set to make its triumphant return in 2025, promising a spectacular two-day filled with food, fun, and family-friendly activities.

Building on the success of the 2024 event, which returned to Victoria Square for the first time in 4 years – Colmore Food Festival 2025 will showcase a vibrant mix of culinary offerings from across Colmore Business District.

“Hot off the heels of the 2024 event, we’re so excited to announce the dates for Colmore Food Festival 2025. It’s a key event in Birmingham’s leisure and hospitality calendar, supporting the industry and bringing the community together.” said Alex Tross, Deputy Chair of Colmore BID and Chair of Colmore BID’s Leisure and Hospitality Working Group.

"Mark your diaries for 2025 as we will be bringing the best of food and drink scene back together in Victoria Square for an amazing weekend to celebrate the vibrant culture of our District and Birmingham.”

In 2024, the best food and drink traders from across Colmore Business District and beyond made home in Victoria Square, including Ashas, Issacs, Vagabond, Jamaya, Zambrero, Hotel du Vin, Gaucho, Java Roastery, F1 Arcade, Loki Wine, Wayland’s Yard and Purecraft Bar & Kitchen.

With a range of food and drink traders serving up a mouthwatering selection of street food, sweet treats and refreshing beverages in 2025, festivalgoers will have the opportunity to experience a wide range of culinary flavours in Birmingham’s ‘heart’ in Victoria Square, all while celebrating the local community and its cultural heritage.

In recognition of the rising cost of living, Colmore BID is committed to making the event as affordable as possible. Free to attend, price caps will again be implemented on all food and drink items for the 2025 edition.

As part of its ongoing mission to support local families, the festival will offer free craft activities and books to children. These initiatives aim to aid children’s education while helping ease the cost-of-living burden for families.

Colmore Food Festival 2025 will also feature free face painting, appearances from popular children’s mascots, and a lively Kids Party hour where little ones can dance and play the day away.

With each passing year, Colmore Food Festival continues to grow. The 2025 edition is expected to exceed all expectations with more traders, bigger attractions, and expanded entertainment.

Applications for Colmore Business District based venues only are now open by emailing foodfestival@colmorebid.co.uk. For external and non-District based trader application updates, the latest news will be released on Colmore BID’s website.

Recognised as one of the leading BIDs in the country through initiatives focused on providing value and quality to levy-payers, Colmore BID works to create a thriving environment for businesses, residents, and visitors.
