One-Day - Two Great Music Events

 

Are you a budding singer? Maybe you’re a fan of blues music? Or both? We’ve got two events that you will not want to miss. All in one day! 

 

One-Day Blues Jam

On 26 July we’ll be hosting four incredible blues bands, who will be playing a mix of Chicago, New Orleans', and rockin' roots blues, right here on the Millennium Point stage! This is as part of the citywide Birmingham Jazz & Blues Festival.

 

We’ve got the brilliant Honeyboy Hickling Blues Band, Tipitina, Slide Boy Roy, and Chickenbone John and Harmonica Dave. This is one not to miss, and tickets are completely free!

Everyone Has A Voice

Earlier that same day, we’re inviting singers of all ages and experiences to join us for our free Everybody Has a Voice workshop from respected singing teacher Debbie Jones — famed internationally as the singer of Tipitina.

 

After a fun singing session, you and your fellow singers will get to perform what you’ve rehearsed in Millennium Point’s beautiful atrium — just wait for the acoustics!
