Starting this Saturday 25 November, the SVR’s hugely popular Santa Trains will be departing Kidderminster on a magical steam train journey to Arley. Each group has a private compartment or reserved table, and after arriving at Arley Station, passengers disembark to watch a fabulous new-for-2023 panto show.

Mischievous elves Jingle and Jangle will be appearing for another festive adventure as they meet their new friend Jack Frost! When the unthinkable happens and snow stops falling in the North Pole, will the elves be able to work together to get it fixed?

“Christmas is a magical time of year on the Railway,” said Lewis Maddox, the SVR’s visitor engagement manager. “I’ve seen a preview of the panto show and it’s set to be great family fun for both adults and children. It’s one not to be missed, as Christmas at the SVR is all about making precious memories!”

Following fun and laughter at the panto show, its’ all aboard the Santa train for the return journey to Kidderminster. Complimentary hot drinks and sweet treats for everyone are included in the ticket price, and each child receives a quality gift and a free ticket to come back to the SVR next year.

Services run at weekends up to Christmas Eve, and on Friday 22 December.
