Award-winning peanut butter brand ManiLife has joined forces with the self-titled ‘purveyors of filth’ Original Pattymen in a partnership to create a limited-edition peanut butter burger like no other.

The ‘Massaman-ilife’' Burger will launch on 23rd August exclusively in the Original Pattymen Digbeth restaurant for a limited time only, available daily until 29th August (while stocks last).

Famed for their street food style burgers, OPM combines an aged beef patty with pickled cabbage, American cheese, pickled chillies, potato rosti in the ManiLife Peanut Butter Burger with a moreish Thai Massaman curry sauce, created by Brad Carter of Carters of Moseley - the latest chef to be wooed by ManiLife’s deep and irresistible flavours. Made using the Deep Roast Crunchy variety, the recipe highlights ManiLife’s versatility as an ingredient and reinforces the brand’s belief that it is the best tasting peanut butter in the world.

Stu Macdonald, founder of ManiLife comments: “We’re really excited to be partnering with Brad on this, and what he’s created is out of this world. It’s great to see the different ways ManiLife can be used by chefs and the fact it’s being put to work by a Michelin starred titan like Brad just shows how far peanut butter has come as an ingredient in the last few years!”

Brad Carter said: “For me, this is the ultimate burger – it has beef, potato, and a little bit of heat, and one of the best sauces ever made. The beef is aged so you get a nice depth of flavour to the meat, and the sauce is made with the best peanut butter in the world! It’s absolutely delicious and I can’t wait for people to try it.”

ManiLife’s smooth and crunchy peanut butters are created using single estate hi-oleic peanuts which are roasted for a deeper, more intense flavour by experts, then blended in small batches for stand-out quality and taste. This winning combination of provenance and flavour is the reason that ManiLife is the chef’s choice of peanut butter and features on the menus of restaurants, bakeries and recipe boxes across the country.
