On September 14th and 15th, join some the stars of the world-renowned BBC series, Peaky Blinders, as 1919 comes crashing into 2019 Digbeth. Over 200 actors and musicians will blend with the crowd recreating our favourite scenes and immersive experiences.
For two days only the Streets of Digbeth in Central Birmingham will be transformed into the world of the Shelby family. Surround yourself in the post-industrial architecture, railway arches and canals of Birmingham 1919 as the Peaky Blinders roam the area, poets rant on street corners and musicians busk.
Peaky Blinders alumni Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes join SLAVES to close the main stage on Sunday 15th, alongside Anna Calvi, Primal Scream, Nadine Shah, Hotel Lux and Pearl Harts on the line-up. The music doesn’t stop there, The Carousel stage will bring the 1920s – 1940s inspired music acts from electro-swing to retro hip-hop styles, performing on a vintage carousel surrounded by actors, characters and oddballs and BBC Introducing Stage will be highlighting the excellence in local and national talent.
Expect spoken word and poetry from Peaky Blinders inspired artists such as Birmingham based and official Peaky Blinders poet Casey Bailey and rising star Hussain Manawer.
The festival will close with an immersive and bespoke performance of Peaky Blinders theme ‘Red Right Hand’ by Nick Cave featuring 200 actors, ballet Rambert and a very special pyrotechnic show.

Martin Coat, one of the creative minds behind Boomtown and immersive theatre specialists Dank Parish, brings the world of Peaky Blinders to life, taking over the streets of Birmingham. Expect close-up entertainment and immerse yourself in the underbelly of early 20th century Birmingham and all the high hitting drama of the Peaky Blinders world.
Behind the Scenes
Creator Steve Knight will conduct a never seen before Q&A with members of the cast to discuss his inspiration, plans and show exclusive snippets and stories behind the tv series.
Museum
Immerse yourself in an incredible museum featuring EVERYTHING we love from the show including, genuine, costumes, props and scenery from all 5 series, Thomas Shelby’s suits, Arthur Shelby’s cap, Aunt Pol’s dresses and even art created by fans across the world.
Fashion
Garrison Taylors will present a catwalk show featuring models and members of the Peaky Blinders cast showcasing the inspired men’s clothing line.
Daniel Kearns the Creative Director behind David Beckham’s clothing label Kent and Curwen will discuss the inspiration behind their new Peaky Blinders' official collection.
Wet shaves, Haircuts, and Tailors will all be available on-site to get you dressed up as a Legitimate Peaky Blinder.
Rambert
The world-famous Ballet company will, for the first time, produce and choreograph a bespoke piece for the festival, performing a spellbinding piece to an especially created 12-minute version of theme tune ‘The Red Right Hand’. Plus, Choreographer Benoit Swan Pouffer will also create several pop-up capsule modern dance pieces around the site.
