Iconic golf destination, The Belfry Hotel & Resort situated in the heart of the country in Royal Sutton Coldfield, North Warwickshire, has launched several new junior golf programmes.

To provide youngsters with exceptional facilities to help their golfing skills, The Belfry has launch new structured programmes taught by dedicated instructors for those aged 3 and older with any golfing ability. Each programme offers activities that are appropriate and engaging for each different age group, including after-school clubs available every school term with a limited group of 8 children on Wednesdays and Saturdays, priced from £54 per term.

Group lessons include the Belfry Minis for those aged 3 to 5, Belfry Eagles for those aged 6 to 11, and Belfry Futures for 12 to 15-year-olds. For those new to golf, they will learn the fundamentals of putting, short game, and full swing. Throughout the course, children will also improve their technique while learning golf rules and etiquette and developing their motor skills through fitness.

The Belfry is also offering individual junior lessons, priced from £25 per child, for children who would like to build a basic knowledge before being part of a group, or for experienced children who would like to work on specific skills and accomplish their goals. Each student will be assessed, and the instructor will develop their own personal plan which will ensure the learning process remains fun and engaging.

We are very excited to be offering a number of new programmes to make golf more accessible to children. It is a fantastic opportunity to introduce more young people to the sport to learn new skills such as leadership and empathy, meet friends and discover new opportunities, all while having a good time,” said Dan Warwick, Head Golf Professional at The Belfry.

“We ensure all lessons include fun and games while learning golf fundamentals, and that everyone has access technology and age-appropriate equipment. Our programmes are a great opportunity for aspiring young golfers of all levels to develop and progress their skills as well as learning lifelong values and skills.”

The Belfry Hotel & Resort is also home to home of Robert Rock Junior Tour, run by Midlands European Tour Professional Robert Rock.  The tour offers a series of junior golf tournaments, with both 18-hole and 9-hole events, open to all junior golfers under 18.
