This month two much-loved independent hospitality businesses are joining forces to bring epic burgers and beers to the people of Birmingham.

Stackz Burger Shack will permanently take over the kitchen at The Flapper on Friday 10th September, offering the same loaded burgers and fries that have been taking Brum by storm since April - plus some brand new dishes.

The collaboration will see owner Shane Moyne moving Stackz Burger Shack into the recently re-opened pub to provide hungry punters with his signature street food including burgers, fries and fried chicken.

All the top sellers loved by fans of the burger joint will remain, plus a host of exciting new additions - created especially for its new home - are being added.

Shane says: “We’re so excited that Stackz will have a permanent home at The Flapper. Collaborating with one of the city’s most iconic venues is a dream come true. We’re working hard behind the scenes to ensure the kitchen is ready and the menu is top notch.

“Our regular customers can expect their favourites but we’re collaborating with the team at the pub to ensure we’re bringing something new and relevant to the venue. We’ve got some really cool burgers and sides coming to the new menu – we think people are going to go wild for them!”

The Flapper’s owner Sam Campbell-Whyte says: “We’re so excited to welcome Stackz into The Flapper family - it’s been a very hard secret to keep.

“Stackz is most definitely one of the best independent burger businesses in Birmingham at the moment; the quality, taste and attention to detail is spectacular. My personal favourite is The Big Cheese but we’re working on some special surprises to mix things up and impress both existing and new Stackz customers.

“We can’t wait to partner up with a fellow independent brand that has the focus and passion that The Flapper has. We’re already collaborating on some exciting additions to the weekly events at pub and can’t wait to announce the first one towards the end of September.

“When we returned we mentioned that we were looking forward to working with independent retailers in Brum and this is just the start. Big things are happening and we’re thrilled Shane has chosen The Flapper as his permanent home.”

Sam is hoping live events in the gig room will return by October, including local talent as well as more established acts, and the weekly pub quiz is already back in action.

The Flapper can be found on Kingston Row and is open 7 days a week with food from Stackz to be available both inside and outside in the beer garden from Friday 10th September.

Shane will also be offering takeaway via Deliveroo, allowing customers to get burgers and beers delivered to their door.
