The uber-glam Brightsmith on the Water within the iconic Hilton Birmingham Metropole is getting ready to help you spoil dad this Father’s Day 18th June.  Sitting beautifully upon the famous Pendigo Lake, guests can enjoy the lakeside views whilst dining on the terrace or can alternatively choose to enjoy a family meal within the elegant and atmospheric main restaurant inside.  This Father’s Day, diners can book lunch (between 12:30-15:30) for dad and the family where a gorgeous set menu has been put together for the special day.  What’s more, dads will be given a very much deserved free drink be that a beer or a glass of still or sparkling wine.

The three-course menu set at £45pp includes mouth-watering dishes such as King prawns with red chilli, soy, ginger, bell pepper and spring onions; 283g Beef Rib-Eye steak with tripled cooked chips, mushrooms and roasted cherry tomatoes, with a choice of peppercorn or mushroom sauce, ending the meal with an irresistible Chocolate and Whisky Torte with strawberry compote.

Brightsmith on the Water is also famed for its cocktails, with all syrups and liqueurs made in-house by their team of expert mixologists that we know dad and the entire family will love. As well as offering all the classics such as Negroni, Mojito or Caipirinha, why not try the Poppet - Chase gin and pear liqueur muddled with fresh cucumber, shaken with apple and lemon juice. Sweetened with homemade Earl Grey syrup. Garnished with dried rose buds. Or indeed the Cherry Wood Smoked Old Fashioned - The Brightsmith twist to the classic ‘Old Fashioned’. Woodford’s Reserve bourbon stirred with Angostura bitters, demerara syrup. Sprayed with orange oil and smoked with cherry wood chips. There’s also a vast menu of quality still and sparkling wines.
