This Christmas, Selfridges is celebrating the power of food to bring us together through its theme: Season’s Feastings.
Over the festive period, Selfridges will offer Birmingham customers serving suggestions for setting up, dressing up, gift giving and merrymaking– all while dishing out a selection of spectacular ‘foodie’ moments. Customers can expect to see the store reimagined into a magical and immersive space where they can spend time savouring a selection of spectacular festive experiences. From 26th November, Santa and his elf squad will be making daily visits to the Birmingham store to greet customers and spread joy as the countdown to Christmas begins.
Santa visits the Selfridges Christmas Shop
The Christmas Shop is now open in Selfridges Birmingham, a magical and immersive place where visitors are invited to spend time savouring the festive experience and choose ornaments that are special to them.
The Christmas Shop will showcase Selfridges’ favourite seasonal products, including carefully curated decorations, lighting, ornaments, advent calendars, gift wrap and cards alongside personalisation services. Customers can explore a curation of pick and mix baubles – many of which are exclusive to Selfridges and can’t be found anywhere else in the UK. 60% of the decorations available are Project Earth labelled, making them more planet-friendly options.
Customers will be able to visit Santa and his elves roaming the store while enjoying live festive music - including DJ sets from Santa himself, as well as live performances from choirs and DJs.
The San Carlo Gran Christmas Café
San Carlo Gran Cafe has been transformed into a Christmas destination for customers to socialise and be inspired. The family-friendly dining destination will be serving up a menu of festive treats throughout the season.
Selfridges is also creating little moments of joy for customers via a series of visits from Santa and his elves. Bookable events include Breakfast with Santa every Saturday and Sunday from 3 – 18 December, and Afternoon Tea with Santa every Friday from 2 - 16 December and 21-22 December. The San Carlo Gran Christmas Cafe will also include appearances from Mrs Claus and her trusty elves, and those who dine with Santa will receive a personalised gift for each child in the family.
The San Carlo Christmas Cafe is located on level one at Selfridges Birmingham and will be open from Monday 14th November.
