D&D London’s first Birmingham location, Orelle restaurant, will be marking their 1st birthday on Saturday 14th October with an exclusive 5-course tasting menu. 

For one night only, the birthday menu, which is available to enjoy during one of two evening sittings, will be priced at £75 and include a glass of sparkling wine. Guests will also enjoy an evening of live music and take home a small sentiment to remember the evening. 

Since the restaurant first opened its doors in October last year, Orelle has quickly become one of Birmingham’s most iconic skyline restaurants, with unrivalled panoramic views of the city and beyond. The restaurant was also listed in Harden’s Guide, which is described as ‘the most trusted restaurant guide in the UK’.

Tables can be booked from 5.30pm and takes in 5 courses, showcasing dishes such as: 

Tartare

Longhorne beef tartare, crispy nori, malt vinegar, seaweed egg jam

Saint – Jacques

Orkney scallop, salsifis, truffle, madeira reduction

Gigue de chevreuil

Cumbria roasted Venison saddle, braised haunch, jerusalem artichoke, peppercorn jus

Chocolat et Yuzu

Milk chocolate mousse, walnut brownie, yuzu caramel, vanilla ice cream

A 4 wine flight is also available at £45 per person.

Orelle have also launched their new set menu, where guests can enjoy 2 courses for £33 or 3 courses for £38. The menu will showcase dishes such as Tartelette de Betterave, Daurade with an olive oil mash, taramasalata, rainbow chard, tapioca, and lemon beurre blanc, Joue de Porc - glazed pork cheek, Spelt ragu, Roscoff, with a beef jus. For dessert, options include ‘Zing Tang’, Fraisier des bois - a white chocolate mousse, strawberry & hibiscus compote, meringue, with strawberry sorbet, and Fromage with farmhouse cheeses, golden raisin & quince chutney, and house oat biscuits.
