Orelle restaurant, located on the top floor of 103 Colmore Row, has announced it will hold a new dining experience the “Blackout Dinner”. The exclusive one off event, in collaboration with Sauvelle vodka is set to provide diners with a sensory journey through taste, touch and sound on Thursday 25th January. 

Guests will be welcomed to the rooftop restaurant with a bespoke Sauvelle Vodka cocktail, then plunged into complete darkness, with thousands of candles and the surrounding Birmingham landscape as the only source of light. Once seated, the immersive event will continue, through a 7 course menu created by Executive Chef, Chris Emery. 

The 7 course menu, priced at £79pp, showcases dishes such as: 

Chapter I - Beetroot Tart & Salmon Croustade 

Chapter II - Salt baked carrot, golden raisin, Jerusalem artichoke, parmesan tuille 

Chapter III - Seared Cornish turbot, mussel, bbq fennel, caviar and champagne beurre blanc 

Chapter IV - Lake district beef fillet, confit garlic, miso carrot, shallot 

Pre Dessert - Citrus Yoghurt & Sorbet 

Dessert - 66% dark chocolate, pistachio cremeaux, miso ice cream 

Petit fours 

There is also a vegan menu available for the event which costs £59pp.
