Award-winning conference and events venue, Millennium Point, has announced an enchanting and unforgettable experience for families this Christmas, with a magical screening of The Polar Express and a special visit from Santa.

Offering a festive experience for the whole family, The Polar Express is set to arrive on Birmingham’s biggest screen at Millennium Point on Sunday 3 December. Complete with a children’s disco and visit from Santa, the experience is a must for families seeking entertainment in the merriest month of the year.

Kicking off at 11.15am, the heart-warming family classic, The Polar Express, follows a young boy’s adventure as he discovers the true spirit of Christmas during an unforgettable journey to the North Pole on the mysterious Polar Express. What’s more, hot chocolate will be provided for audience members.

Alongside the festive screening, Santa will be around before and after the film, from 9.30am to 2pm, to meet his fans – giving out special greetings and gifts to all children in attendance.

Plus, excited children will be kept entertained as they wait to meet Santa with a Christmas disco packed toe-tapping festive tunes from the venue’s on-site DJ.

Families can also capture memories of their unforgettable afternoon next to Millennium Point’s dazzling 39ft Christmas tree, which has over 23,000 dazzling lights and 1,500 sparkling baubles.

Additionally, Millennium Point has a jam-packed event programme with something for everyone this Christmas, including a special screening of Elf paired with four delicious cocktails, the recently-announced festive feel-good The Holiday with Bottomless Prosecco Brunch event and a floor-filling Festive Silent Disco event.

Rebecca Delmore, Commercial Director at Millennium Point, said: “We’re thrilled to add another much-loved film to our exciting events schedule this Christmas. We hope families enjoy a magical time with us and children enjoy meeting Santa Claus as he stops by with early Christmas presents for them all.

“Whether visitors are looking to enjoy the magic of cinema or get their dancing shoes on this Christmas, there’s something for everyone this festive season at Millennium Point”.
