The High Field - Edgbaston

Edgbaston’s The High Field is a splendid spot for a sunny day out. With a beautiful garden area, this venue is ideal for enjoying British classics done right, from fish and chips to sumptuous Sunday roasts. Pair your meal with a glass of fine wine or a refreshing gin and tonic, and you’re set for a delightful afternoon.
 

 

The Old Crown - Digbeth

Dating back to 1368, The Old Crown in Digbeth is Birmingham’s oldest secular building. You’d expect it to have a few wrinkles by now, but it’s going stronger than ever! With a fantastic outdoor space and heaters for those chillier evenings, it’s perfect for an alfresco pub grub feast whatever the weather.

The Seafood Linguine and Chicken Shawarma come highly recommended, though probably not together - unless you’re feeling particularly adventurous.

 

Chaophraya -  Bullring & Grand Central

Overlooking the Bullring, Chaophraya offers a chic rooftop terrace with panoramic city views, as well as a large area where you can soak up the sunshine. They even have some incredible outdoor dining pods! Their extensive Thai menu, featuring fiery curries and refreshing mango sticky rice, pairs perfectly with the stunning surroundings. The Botanist - Brindleyplace

The Botanist in Brindleyplace might just have the best outdoor drinking area in all of Birmingham. Nestled on the picturesque Gas Street Basin, this stylish pub features a large exterior seating area with views of the moored canal barges. Sip on their creative cocktails or dive into their fab food menu – the Hanging Kebabs are to die for.
 

Ju Ju’s Cafe - Birmingham City Centre

For a cosy, relaxed atmosphere, Ju Ju’s Cafe at Canal Wharf is a hidden gem. Their terrace offers serene canal views, making it the perfect spot for a leisurely brunch. Try their Porky Hash or fully-stacked pancakes, and you’ll understand why breakfast here feels like a little slice of heaven.
