Sandwell Council is inviting children of all ages to a Play by Night on Friday 3 November, at Dartmouth Park, West Bromwich. The event will start at 5pm.

Headlined by major Cbeebies star Andy and the Odd Socks, the event will start by lighting the playground up in many colours like a rainbow! There will also be the splash pad, a stage of full music and other entertainment, a variety of world food and for the adults a licensed bar.

The event is special as it is a rare opportunity to children to play outside safely after the clocks go back. It is also particularly suitable for people with sensory issues as there will be no loud fireworks which makes it also suitable for people wanting to bring their dogs, although all dogs must be kept on leads.

Tickets are available now and if you book early you may be able to get one of the limited super-early bird rates but you will need to be quick. Adult tickets start at £4 with children’s tickets under £3. For more information, go to - www.visitsandwell.com/whats-on/playbynight

Sandwell Council’s Cabinet Member for Leisure and Tourism, Councillor Charn Singh Padda, said:

“We know that this is an incredibly popular events with thousands coming last year and, because of the cost-of-living crisis, we have kept the entry price especially so low.

“For those wanting a more traditional event we will also be holding a fireworks night on Saturday 4 November so I would encourage residents to come to either or both of these fun events.”
