Eat with a beat this bank holiday as steakhouse Bar + Block in Birmingham unveils its musical line-up, serving up four days of live music that can be enjoyed alongside the restaurant’s signature steaks and cocktails. Hitting all the right notes, the restaurant and bar will be getting the party started with a mix of contemporary covers and classics, performed by a talented line-up of young local musicians from Thursday 26th to Sunday 29th August.
Part of the successful Summer + Music series, in partnership with local music promoter Brumbeat Music Ltd, Bar + Block will be celebrating the long weekend with a bang. Musicians taking to the stage include the smooth country pop sound of Dan Roberts from the band Grafton Ash, folk and soul from award-winning singer Ben Drummond, and an eclectic mix of covers from musician Anthony Price, where a combination of beats from Jonny Cash and Bruce Springsteen to Prince and Passenger is guaranteed to keep everyone moving all night.

Bank Holiday Music Line Up
Ben Drummond: Thursday 26th August (8pm-10pm)
Award-winning singer and songwriter Ben Drummond has travelled the world, supporting the likes of Bryan Adams, Jamiroquai and Red Hot Chilli Peppers, and is known for his laid-back style of folk with soul.
Dan Roberts: Friday 27th August (6pm-8pm) and Sunday 29th August (4pm-6pm)
Trademark strong vocals, performing a vast array of songs ranging from soft pop to smooth country. Dan is best known for his work in Worcestershire band Grafton Ash, who were invited to support James Blunt on the last Birmingham date of his tour!
Anthony Price: Saturday 28th August (8pm-10pm)
Having performed at The Glee Club and with a solo EP out later this year, Anthony plays a variety of covers and styles, from Jonny Cash and Bruce Springsteen to Prince, Ben Howard, and Passenger.
