Bar + Block Steakhouse in Birmingham is set to serve a host of ace dishes and drinks to celebrate Wimbledon 2021. The modern, all-day dining steakhouse will be serving up delicious doubles to celebrate the championship; two strawberry-based desserts and two smashingly good cocktails, as well as a 10-minute express menu that will have you back courtside before you can say ‘new balls please’.

If you don’t want to miss a second of the action, Bar + Block’s super speedy Express Menu is just the break you need, with all dishes cooked to order in 10 minutes for under £10. Enjoy dishes including a steak sandwich with Cheddar cheese, fried red onions, tomato, rocket and garlic mayo; classic steak frites, a 6oz beef burger; or an open club sandwich – available from 11:30am – 5pm Monday to Friday, it’s guaranteed to score points with your partner.

The à la carte menu is also available throughout the tournament with an ever-changing selection of quality steaks, hand cut to match your appetite, and aged for at least 30 days. From rump to ribeye, fillet to sirloin, all selected from British and Irish Angus breeds renowned for their taste, tenderness and the unique marbling
that runs throughout each cut.

Wimbledon and strawberries go hand in hand and Bar + Block have two delicious desserts on offer. First serve is the Eton Mess Sundae, a rippled Pavlova layered with vanilla dairy ice cream, strawberries, raspberries, blackberries and whipped cream; whilst the second is a real ace with Meringue Kisses, mini rippled meringues with a light strawberry mousse filling, topped with fresh strawberries and drizzled in fruit

Follow with a tennis inspired tipple to complete your grand slam, with a choice of the Vodka Pink Smash, Smirnoff Red Vodka served with Schweppes Pink Soda and garnished with strawberries, or the Strawberry Mojito, Captain Morgan® Spiced Rum, fresh mint, lime, strawberry purée, topped with soda for a winning combination.
