The sixth edition of the prestigious West Midlands Tourism Awards (WMTA) is set to take place in March 2026.
This annual event will bring together businesses from across the region’s accommodation, arts, food & drink, visitor attraction and heritage sectors to celebrate the success and accomplishments of tourism businesses across the West Midlands.
We’re delighted that these awards are affiliated with VisitEngland and as such, eligible winners from the West Midlands Tourism Awards will automatically be entered into the VisitEngland Awards for Excellence 2026 for the chance to be recognised as a national winner.
The awards are delivered by the West Midlands Growth Company (WMGC) – the region’s destination marketing agency, and have been designed to strengthen the region’s visitor economy by harnessing sustainable domestic tourism, growing the demand for inbound international tourism and attracting more major business and sporting events.
