AccessAble
AccessAble was founded almost 25 years ago by disabled entrepreneur Dr. Gregory Burke.
Our mission is to collaboratively support organisations to see the value of change and bring a positive impact to the lives of disabled people and wider society.
The 10,000s of Detailed Access Guides we produce, available to use for free at www.AccessAble.co.uk, are trusted by over 6 million disabled people every year.
AccessAble works with 475 + partners, including household names such as Marks and Spencer, National Trust and TUI, 80 + local authorities, 100 + universities and 95 + NHS trusts. We create Detailed Access Guides to their places and spaces while also supporting them to provide inclusive experiences.
In 2024, AccessAble launched the Your Accessibility Guide Portal, supported by VisitEngland and VisitScotland, to further engage SMEs and tourism businesses.
Grounded in its grassroots beginnings, coproduction is at the heart of AccessAble, 1000s of disabled people have shaped our service and continue to do so.

Birmingham and West Midlands Visitor Pass
Discover the best of the region with the Birmingham and West Midlands Pass.
This all-in-one pass opens the doors to some of the region’s top attractions, including the Cadbury World, Warwick Castle, St. Mary’s Guildhall, Drayton Manor, Birmingham Museums, LEGOLAND Discovery Centre, West Midlands Police Museum, West Midlands Safari Park and more. Beyond these must-see sites, visitors can enjoy exclusive discounts at local hotels, restaurants, shops, and unique experiences.
It is a digital, mobile-friendly solution that gives admission to visitors to multiple attractions with a single ticket, with live data feeds directly into attractions. The pass is available for a fixed period (1 day, 2-day, and 3-day) enabling them to choose a duration that best fits their itinerary. This flexibility ensures that visitors can explore at their own pace without feeling rushed.
Benefits to you
• The pass can attract visitors and increase the dispersion of visitors across the West Midlands by making it more convenient to explore popular attractions, experiences, and activities. This will help increase revenue for the region and local businesses. In 2023, day visitors made up the majority of visitors to the region, with 89% of all visits – this is an opportunity to increase overnight stays and time in the region.
• The pass will allow visitors to discover more and enjoy a seamless and hassle-free experience of exploring the region, making it easier for them to access top attractions and activities, and navigate the local transport.
• The pass promotes local businesses and attractions to audiences further afield (both national and international). By featuring discounts and deals on local shops, restaurants, and activities, the pass can encourage visitors to spend more time and money in the region.
If you would like to be involved in the pass to promote your venue, please contact Martin Clarke at martin.clarke@wmgrowth.com

Visit Birmingham and the West Midlands
Visit Birmingham facilitates the leisure tourism industry, giving tourists a platform to discover attractions, events, and accommodations throughout the city.
Not only does it raise awareness of these points of interest (generating business for partnered companies and other listed businesses), but the site allows people to comprehensively plan a trip to the city. From travelling here to where to stay to what to do, everything can be organised on-platform.
Visit Birmingham maximises its offering by sharing information with Visit sites from partnered local authorities. The site, alongside other destination sites, pulls from a pooled resource of events and experiences that tourists can book.
Partners can add this information through the Culture & Tourism Connected platform. It provides site partners with improved visibility among target audiences, offering a higher level of cross-promotion opportunities.
