Did you know?

This celebration holds its roots right here in Birmingham? In May 1987, local broadcaster and nature enthusiast Chris Baines marked his birthday by inviting his friends and family to Moseley Bog, to take in the special sounds of nature at this time of year. This single gathering sparked an annual tradition, which is now observed worldwide on the first Sunday of May.
