A 2 mile, 2 hour walk covering the main sights of Birmingham whilst you learn its amazing history. With loads of photo opportunities and a walk along the canal, you'll get an understanding of the story of this great city from its humble medieval origins through its explosion as the Workshop of the World to the modern diverse city of today.
The tone is informative but relaxed and fun. I'm a born and bred Brummie who can teach you to talk like a local and offer plenty of tips for further exploration. Learn why I love this city, its unique story and some of its secrets; meet like minded explorers whilst enjoying a fun activity.

If you're new to Birmingham this tour covers the main areas of the city centre and puts them into their historical context. If you know the city well you'll almost certainly learn something new!
Photo opportunities include, St Martin's church, Selfridges, St Philip's cathedral, canals, Symphony Hall/Convention Centre, Library of Birmingham, Hall of Memory, Chamberlain memorial, Art Gallery/Council House, Town Hall and many squares, fountains, canals and bridges.
The tour involves steps and slopes and is not suitable for wheelchairs or pushchairs, there are some uneven surfaces but it's suitable for anyone of an average fitness level. There are toilets in the Bullring shopping centre where we start but there are none on the route. We finish in Victoria Square in the centre of the city just a 5 minute walk from the starting point and your guide will happily escort you back there if you wish. The tour is completely outside and we don't go into any of the buildings.
