Feeling blue? Henry’s Blueshouse gets swinging this Tuesday with one of its first Tuesdays Is Bluesdays Events at The O Bar Broad Street, the fourth home of the show!

Back in 1968, Henry's Blueshouse was held every Tuesday at The Crown on Station Street where it featured emerging British bands such as Status Quo, Chicken Shack, Judas Priest, and Jethro Tull. It is also the very place where owner Jim Simpson discovered and signed a band named Earth, later renamed to Black Sabbath!

From raw, Delta blues to electrifying Chicago-style renditions, get into the groove at Henry’s Blueshouse this Tuesday.
 

Made in the Black Country at Black Country Living Museum, 10 May to 2 June
 

Ow am ya? The Black Country Living Museum’s theme ‘Made in the Black Country’ celebrates the fascinating people, products, and stories that came from this wonderful place!

From pioneering filmmakers and sports heroes to internationally significant industries, including film-making and the world’s first steam engine, visitors are invited to meet historic characters from the region for an immersive, educational, and fun experience for all the family.

Get stuck into making bricks, and even create your own banner to participate in the 1910 women chainmakers' strike. Don’t forget to stop off for their famous old-school fish and chip shop whilst you’re there!
 

New World Symphony with the CBSO at Symphony Hall, 15 May
