Brightsmith on the Water’s Summer Terrace is officially open

There’s nothing us Brits love more than making the most of the sunshine when it rears its head. A cocktail on a sun-soaked terrace is one of our very favourite ways to enjoy the summer and now Brightsmith on the Water has officially opened its summer terrace to answer that ever-nagging question; “where shall we meet for that drink later?”

With unique views over Pendigo Lake, you’ll feel like you’re on holiday. Brightsmith’s summer terrace is sponsored by the gorgeous St-Germain elderflower liqueur, and has been laden with summery floral decorations, complete with a highly “Instagrammable” St Germain flower swing!

Throughout the summer, there will be live music or beach-bar vibe DJ sets to truly transport you from the rush of Birmingham to the calm, warm luxury of the Med.

Guests can enjoy St Germain cocktails such as St Germain Spritz – St Germain and dry sparkling wine, lengthened with soda and garnished with lemon zest; Floral Gin & Tonic – Bombay Sapphire, St Germain, topped with tonic and garnished with rosemary and a slice of lemon or a Rose Spritz – St Germain and rose wine, topped with sparkling water and garnished with olive and grapefruit. Guests can also look forward to a wonderful terrace menu, with delicious bites and bowl food such as Smoked Beef Ribs - Served with creamed mash, carrot pearls and courgettes; Thai Sesame Noodle Salad ­- with tangy shredded duck and onion pickle; Cod Fritters with Chimichurri Sauce and for dessert Raspberry and Passionfruit Pavlova.
