Celebrating GWR and a century since the 'grouping', the SVR's annual spring festival of steam locomotives returns on 14th to 16th April 2023 for a three-day intensively-timetabled extravaganza of special guests alongside the Valley's fantastic resident steam fleet – including VIP guests GWR 4079 Pendennis Castle and GWR Small Prairie 4555!
Whether you're joining us for just a single day or saving money by grabbing a multi-day rover, you'll have the opportunity to rack up mileage behind your favourite locomotives, hop on and off at our carefully-maintained period stations, and experience a few special surprises – across the 16 miles of SVR line.
Locomotives from across the eras and from a variety of builders will run – alone, in double headers, in top-and-tails – and will be matched with an unparalleled selection of perfectly restored coaches. GWR, BR and LMS locomotives in front of the unrivalled array of coaching stock – perfect!
