Online Cheese & Wine Tasting – Focus on Spain

We continue with our ever popular online wine tastings this time taking you on an exploration of Spanish wines and cheese. We absolutely love Spain, the food and wine culture is immense, and also they have such wonderful wine regions that sometimes get forgotten about due to the popularity of Rioja. We will talk you through the wines, as well as have a general chat about Spanish wine and food, and you will learn why we consider Spain one of the best countries for wine in the world.

As usual we are going to focus on three wines that you possibly wouldn’t have tried, and help to explain to you the fantastic wines and regions of Spain that are less well known. So rest assured you will not get a Rioja in this tasting.

You will get three 750ml bottles, one white wine and two red wines for this tasting.

This recurring event will be hosted by both Phil the owner and Paul the wine educator, plus Will the owner of Anderson & Hill, giving you a unique chance to experience a tasting with both wine experts at Loki, a cheese expert.

To make it simple for you, for this tasting you just need to buy the wines from us, then purchase the cheese to match the wines. 23rd May tasting will feature: Cheese varieties TBC

If you live within 5 miles of Loki you can select the option to get 300 grams of cheese (approximately 3×100 grams of each cheese) of delicious Anderson & Hill cheese delivered with your wines. Or we deliver on Wednesday’s to Solihull & surroundings, Thursday to Stourbridge & surroundings, and Friday to Sutton Coldfield.

If you live outside the 5 miles we can ship you the wine via UPS express delivery (usually 1-3 days), however as we cannot guarantee that the wines sent via UPS will be delivered in time for the live tasting, we will be providing everyone with the video of the tasting afterwards. Unfortunately we cannot ship the cheese out via UPS.

The format of the event

The live video will happen from 5pm on Saturday and will last for at least one hour. You will have the opportunity to ask any questions you have during the event, please use the live chat and talk to Victoria who will relay the messages to the speakers.

If you cannot make the live video we will send everyone a recording of the event usually around 2 hours afterwards so you can enjoy the tasting at a time convenient for you.

Price: £55 which includes the three bottles of wine and the hosted wine tasting – This should be enough for up-to 3/4 people depending how much you want to drink!

Cheese from Anderson & Hill: £10 for 300 grams of cheese (approximately 3 x 100 grams).

Latest order for delivery within 5 miles is Friday at 2pm, and for further afield is Thursday at 2pm.

Delivery will usually be fulfilled on the Wednesday, Thursday or Friday before the tasting.
