Join us for an unforgettable evening of choral music at Handel & Bach! - Choral Celebration 2023. This superb concert will take place on Sunday, October 22, 2023 at 19:30 in the vibrant and historical venue of Handsworth St Mary, Hamstead Road, Handsworth, B20 2RW.

Prepare to be inspired by the harmonious melodies of Handel and Bach, two of the greatest composers in history. Immerse yourself in the rich tapestry of their choral and orchestral compositions, performed by a talented 30-piece orchestra (with period instruments) and the combined forces of Birmingham Choral Union, Barnt Green Choral Society, Handsworth St Mary Choir and friends. Performances of works include Handel's Royal Fireworks and Water Music (Suite No2) and Bach's famous Cantata 'Eine Feste Burg' BVW 80.

Whether you are a seasoned classical music enthusiast or simply curious to experience the beauty of these iconic composers, this concert promises to be a treat for your ears and soul.

Proceeds go towards providing first class music education opportunities for children in underserved communities across inner-city Birmingham.
