About

Join us for a celebration of the local, national and international design industry held over three days in June.

BDF was created to show the world that the city’s design community should be taken seriously. There’s a lot to be proud of in Birmingham, but also a lot of room for growth. We wanted to spearhead this, engage local communities and businesses, promote deisigners working out of the city and give the students something to be a part of during & after their study has finished.

So much of BDF worked because of the fantastic response from people, not just from Birmingham but across the country, investing into what we built and making the most of the opportunity.

Making Pride as accessible as possible is one of the main priorities to ensure that Pride is open to all.

We will be having a raised platform that those with accessibility needs will be able to use that will be by the Main Stage.

The event will be made accessible in British Sign Language with interpretation provided on the main stage. These Interpreters have been booked via the LGBTQIA+ Interpreter and Translators Network.".

There will also be a number of accessible toilets.
