About

Legacy Centre of Excellence, opened in September 2019, is Europe’s largest independent Black-owned Business and Arts Centre, which facilitates the need of the local community through the arts, jobs, training and education.

Working to raise the aspirations of the local and the wider BAME community, we pride ourselves on being pioneers of black excellence through creative engagement and business ventures. With partners including Birmingham City Council, Arts Council England and Metro Mayor himself Andy Street CBE, we have built up a strong rapport within our neighbourhood and beyond.

Legacy COE exists to offer great cultural, artistic, economic, youth, educational and business development related activities that uplift and upskill particularly the next generation. We do this by providing the best in events, event space, accessible and affordable workspace workshops and projects that encourage people to come together in a safe curated space, which puts their individual and collective needs at the heart.
