Brindleyplace Film Festival

PAST EVENT - 8-14 July

Brindleyplace received more than 1000 votes from members of the general public wishing to have their say on which films are shown at this year’s event. The film that received the most votes was the 1961 classic Breakfast at Tiffany’s, which will consequently be shown on Wednesday 10 July at 6pm.

Boasting the theme of Momentous Movies, the week-long free event kicked off on Monday with a sing-along version of hit musical Grease. The festival showcases a total of nine films, with all evening films commencing at 6pm. On Saturday and Sunday two films will be shown per day, one at 11am and the other at 2pm.

There are beanbags and blankets, however people are advised to arrive early to the Film Festival or to bring their own seating or blankets.

This is the second year that Brindleyplace has hosted its Outdoor Film Festival, with the aim of making it one of Birmingham’s ‘must-visit’ events of the summer.

People can view the film schedule below, at or on signage around the estate.
