Learn the technique of suminagashi paper marbling.

Suminagashi is the ancient Japanese art of floating ink on water to create patterns on the surface which are then transferred onto paper. Many patterns and colour combinations will be explored during this very relaxing and creative workshop, where no two papers will be the same.
You will be shown how to prepare paper for marbling, and you will explore how different papers will give different results. Once the papers are dry I will guide you through the process of hand stitching your own pamphlet art book adorned with your unique marbled paper designs to take away.
