About

Enjoy an outdoor performance by the Crescent Theatre of this classic farce by Brandon Thomas, in the glorious surroundings of the Selly Manor garden. Bring along a picnic and enjoy summer evening entertainment.

'How do you do? I am Charley's aunt from Brazil, where the nuts come from.'

Charley and Jack love Amy and Kitty. Needing a chaperone while the boys ask the girls to marry them, Charley discovers that his aunt is coming for lunch. What luck! Naturally, things don't go as planned - his aunt is late and instead their friend, Lord Fancourt Babberley, shows up in drag.

A wild evening of mistaken identity, young love, old love, angry uncles, and one beautiful, exotic aunt ensues. Charley's Aunt is a classic farce with a dash of heart!
