In October 2010, Aston Villa Football Club launched a new training restaurant concept, Restaurant VMF. Their restaurant offers a totally unique dining experience - award-winning food, with spectacular views of the Villa Park pitch. Set in the luxurious surroundings of the Directors Suite, relax in Restaurant VMF and sample their delicious menu, offering locally-sourced dishes which have been cooked and served by their VMF apprentices.

In fact, some of the produce used travels from their very own allotment plot, just half a mile away from Villa Park. The allotment is another way the club works with the local community, with young people at the heart of this project. In conjunction with Roots and Renewal, young people grow the produce on an allotment which is now larger than a football pitch! Not only that, their own Aston Villa bees produce honey on the allotment site which is also used in their recipes within Restaurant VMF.

The restaurant is open on Friday and Saturday evenings and for Sunday lunch offering a three-course choice seasonal menu, at affordable prices starting from just £22.50 for a three-course Sunday Lunch.

Restaurant VMF has earned rave reviews from food critics and diners and has already won a host of awards for its stunning food and talented staff. They also achieved a Certificate of Excellence 2013 and 2014 from TripAdvisor after being ranked No. 1 out of Birmingham Restaurants, beating off tough competition from other local restaurants.

Jaguar Castle Bromwich
Back in our parents’ day, the thought of going to a car factory for a nice day out would have seemed crazy. But times have changed, and Jaguar’s modern assembly plant at Castle Bromwich is no ordinary factory. Built in 1936 to produce the iconic Spitfire fighter that defended Britain against the Luftwaffe, Castle Bromwich has been the home of Jaguar since 1977, and today produces the XJ luxury flagship and the thrilling F-TYPE sports car. The technically-minded will enjoy seeing robots rivet and bond the aerospace-inspired aluminium bodies that make Jaguar cars so light, strong and agile. But everyone, whether petrolhead or youngster, will enjoy seeing these sleek machines coming together and hearing the rasp of their V6 and V8 engines as they come to life. As a bonus, if you’re considering a Jaguar for yourself you’ll be able to get inspiration from the rainbow spectrum of paint finishes and interior leathers as the finished cars come down the line.
“It’s like a toy factory for grown-ups” as one visitor put it.

Bloc hotel is a stylish and contemporary hotel located in Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter within the city centre. The village atmosphere created by its cafes-bars and restaurants is complemented by the business-shopping-arts and sports facilities that are also on its doorstep. We have taken loose inspiration from Japanese pod style hotels which means much larger rooms more akin to a cabin on a luxury yacht with finishes and fittings to match. The rooms are equipped with a King Size Double Bed, luxurious linen, climate control, wet room with monsoon drench shower, Samsung 32inch LED Flat Screen TV and high speed WIFI. Birmingham is of course a centrally located travel hub and for many of our visitors that will be the most important factor in just how quickly and conveniently they can access the motorway network, national rail and international flights.
