There is an overwhelming choice and selection of restaurants and foods from all over the world, so why not take the opportunity to try a selection of our local beverages whilst enjoying the Star City Entertainment Complex, located just a few minutes away?

Star City has one of the largest cinemas in the country, showing the latest Hollywood and Bollywood releases. Indoor miniature golf and plenty of restaurants make Star City the ideal place for visitors young or old.


Alum Rock shopping area is located approximately 2 miles east of Birmingham City centre.

The main shopping strip spans just under a mile along the Alum Rock Road from the Saltley Island to the junction of Langton Road. The shopping area runs in parallel to the Washwood Heath Road, B4114 heading towards Hodge Hill.  

By Bus

Several buses run along the main Alum Rock including the number 14 and 26.  The number 8 Inner Circle runs past the Alum Rock shopping area and is widely used by visitors from neighbouring areas.  

By Train

Adderley Park and Duddeston railway stations are located nearby. To plan your trip by public transport visit
