Hina Chavda formed Hina and Co in 2002, since that time the company has built up a formidable reputation, having performed at a multitute of high profile events and venues.
Hina has been dancing since the age of 2, with a strong pedigree of of dance within her family; she trained in Kathak under esteemed dancer Sonia Sabri and performed for Lehar Dance Company and Sampad. Hina and Co train and perform a variety of dance repertoires including Kathak, Classical, Bhangra, Bollywood and Urban Fusion.
The Hina Dancers have performed for many prestigious events and organisations over the years, including the BBC, Mega Mela, Artsfest, Asian Network Live, Asian Pop Awards, Britain's Got Talent, James Caan Charity Dinner, The Clothes Show Live, Gordon Ramsey's Curry in a Hurry for Comic Relief, Come Dine with Me and Richard Branson's Launch Party for Virgin Atlantic.
Last Year the Hina Dancers were involved in many exciting projects including Sampad’s Moving Earth, The Olympic Torch Relays, performing for Her Majesty the Queen and won first place in the IFDPA Dance Competition in the Bollywood Category in Disneyland Paris.
Hina's youngest student is 4 and the oldest 64 so all are welcome to join in her classes!!
It is evident that Hina’s work is very inspirational not only to her local community but to the whole of the UK. She has performed locally, Nationally and Internationally, spreading her cultural knowledge. She holds a reputation of making a difference and is highly respected within the community.
