The Red House Glass Cone standing proud in the historic Stourbridge Glass Quarter offers visitors the opportunity to learn new skills in their glass studio, marvel at glass blowing, visit bespoke craft studios and exhibitions and purchase gift items. Still within the Stourbridge Glass Quarter, you can visit the Ruskin Glass Centre, home to past glass industry greats – including Royal Doulton and Webb Corbett.

Dudley Zoological Gardens is home to hundreds of exotic and endangered animals. Take part in a bookable ‘experience’ day, or just amble around the paths viewing the World Monument Status Tecton enclosures. Located at the top of the hill is the 11th Century motte and bailey castle.

Celebrating the Black Country heritage, the award winning Black Country Living Museum takes visitors through 300 years of history. Enjoy sights, sounds, smells and tastes of a traditional industrialised landscape encompassing period shops, houses and experiences. If you fancy indulging yourself, visit Himley Hall & Park to enjoy their ‘Indulgent Afternoon Tea’ experience. Set in Lancelot Capability Brown 180 acres designed parkland, this 18th Century country house holds events, activities and walks throughout the year.

16 miles of navigable canals are ideal for walking, cycling and fishing. Or perhaps you’ll take in a show at one of the borough halls which have a packed programme of entertainment suitable for all ages.
