About

New for 2024, our family tours take you on an interactive exploration of The Exchange. With help from objects, archives and our friendly guides, step into the shoes of those who once worked and banked in this historic building. Take a seat at the table in the Board Room and learn about coins in the Bank Manager's office. Design your dream working lunch in the former canteen and consider the special things you'd safeguard in the safety deposit boxes as you explore The Vaults.

Suitable for families with children aged 6+ years.

This event is presented as part of a public programme of exhibitions and events exploring the heritage of The Exchange, University of Birmingham's city-centre location and former headquarters of Birmingham Municipal Bank.
