Created by the UK's premiere experimental music festival, Supersonic Kids Gigs are designed for families as a way of introducing children to experimental music – BIG sounds for little people!
Supersonic Kids Gigs take children under 10 & families on an extraordinary musical journey. We create enveloping & multi-sensory experiences that inspire young audiences with a riot of sound.
Expect a live set by Japanese experimental singer-songwriter ICHI who takes the notion of a one-man band to new limits. Combining his quirky handmade instrument inventions (Stilt-bass, Kalilaphone, Balloon-pipes, Hatbox-pedal-drum, Tapumpet, Percussion-shoes & Hattrick-hat) with steel-drum, ping-pong balls, typewriter, toys & everyday objects all in the space of one short set.
This Kids Gig will be hosted by everyone's favourite alt-rocker and pyscho-storyteller, Anna Palmer from Dorcha.
