Urban Nature Day with ZooLab

Nature is taking over! We want to encourage families, young people, and adults to explore their natural environment and join us for an Urban Nature Day at Blakesley Hall.

You will explore Blakesley Hall's beautiful gardens looking at the plants, animals, and insects and we encourage you to find as many species as possible. You might find species ranging from fungi and snails to moths and birds. Our Natural Science Curator will be on hand to show you how to look for wildlife and how to record what you find.

Entrance to the Urban Nature Day in the grounds is free and takes place from 11am - 4pm. (Admission to the Hall still applies and is not included in the event).

ZooLab Sessions
As part of our Urban Nature Day event, join us for an exciting session with ZooLabs in the Visitor Centre!

Get up close and hands-on with some real live animals as we talk all about our changing planet and the challenges facing some of our amazing nature. Meet the likes of snakes, tarantulas and giant snails in this exciting encounter session that hopes to 'Amaze, Educate and Inspire' all ages.
