Timber Festival

Rawdon Road, Moira, SWADLINCOTE, Derbyshire, DE12 6DQ
Timber Festival

Gather round nature lovers, day dreamers and big thinkers...

This incredible weekend of celebration, debating and reflection, taking place in the National Forest is one not to be missed.

Expect thought provoking discussions from writer and broadcaster Stuart Maxonie and speaking musician Gwenno Saunders. Enjoy live performances by the incredible Jesca Hoop and You Tell Me.

BBC Radio 4's Geoff Bird will be hosting the Wilderness Tracks and will be joined by special guests, including Laura Barton, an English music journalist.

Timber plays host to all kinds of magic and it is the live performances, arts and theatre that make the site come alive for festival-goers, creating lasting memories. Expect to bump into the fabulous Trixie and Tilly, who are part of Tea Club, an outdoor strolling piece of dance theatre celebrating Britain’s passion for tea and all things vintage, produced by Axial Dance.

Award-winning arts organisation Wild Rumpus will also be creating a new piece of work for Timber 2019.
