Storytelling Gallery Talk

About

Wednesday 14 June | 1 – 1.30pm

Images have always held an important role in the retelling of the Christian story. This season's latest print-bay display, Storytelling: A Life of Christ on Paper, curated by National Gallery Curatorial Trainee Chloe Church, celebrates the narrative quality of sacred images by following the chronology of Jesus's life from birth, through death, to resurrection. In this talk, Chloe will highlight a couple of the key works, and link the display to the wider Green Gallery context of Renaissance masterpieces and sacred subjects.
