Pop fans are in for a treat as the line-up for West Midlands’ Free Radio event, Hits Live has been announced. Taking place at Arena Birmingham on 4th May 2019, Free Radio Hits Live brings together some of the biggest stars under one roof for an exclusive one-night event - offering music lovers the chance to experience the biggest hits live!

Performing at May’s bank holiday weekend event will be BRIT Award-winning Ellie Goulding, pop troubadour James Arthur, and Swedish siren Zara Larsson. Pop-rockers The Vamps will play, as will platinum R&B hit-maker Mabel, and the brilliant Tom Walker, fresh from the release of his No.1 Album and BRIT Award win for British Breakthrough Act. Adding to the incredible line-up is Lewis Capaldi - whose single ‘Someone You Loved’ has been ruling the charts for the last month - and much-hyped pop newcomer, HRVY.

The night will be hosted by Free Radio Breakfast’s Ben Hanlin who is also known for his ITV2 series Tricked. Sarah Jane Crawford who hosts evenings and the UK Chart Show on Free Radio and across the Hits Radio Network will also be at the event, and backstage on the night to bring radio listeners all the gossip and interviews with the performing artists.

Free Radio’s Sarah Jane Crawford said, “We had so much fun at November’s event we decided we couldn’t wait a whole other year for the next! Doing the UK Chart Show each week, I know which artists are providing the biggest hits, and this incredible line-up are some of the biggest pop stars of today. It’s going to be so special to see them all in one place.”

‘Love Me Like You Do’ singer Ellie Goulding said “Can’t wait to perform at Free Radio Hits Live in May. I’ve been away finishing my fourth album and excited for you all to hear what I’ve been up to.”

Chart-topping singer James Arthur said “There’s no greater feeling in the world than being on stage performing for my fans. Audiences in the West Midlands are some of the best, and I can’t wait to see you all in May.”
