The Coffin Works, Fleet Street, BIRMINGHAM, West Midlands, B3 1JP
Death and Literature Reading Group

About

To round out A Matter of Life and Death this Dying Matters Week, the Coffin Works will be launching a new death and literature reading group. Join the discussion on the topics of death and dying in literature, starting with the reading of Sarah Hall's short story, "Sudden Traveller", shortlisted for the BBC National Short Story Award 2018. (A BBC audio recording of this can be found at https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p06lhks3)

All are invited to a FREE reading group at 2.30pm, facilitated by the museum's Writer in Residence, Laura Joyce. There will be tea and cake.

Booking is essential as places are limited - link to tickets on website.

Donations for refreshments gratefully received.
