Bax: In Memoriam

City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra (CBSO), Berkley Street, BIRMINGHAM, West Midlands, B1 2LF
Bax: In Memoriam

About

Something magical happens when you add a harp to a chamber ensemble – it's as if the music is just about to lift off. This colourful concert embraces both the Gallic elegance of Jacques Ibert, and the Celtic twilight of Arnold Bax, as well as Pasculli's gloriously songful homage to Bellini – in which the CBSO's cor anglais player Rachel Pankhurst turns opera star!
