About

Birmingham Cathedral is a fine English Baroque parish church designed by Thomas Archer. Completed in 1725, it is one of the most beautiful historic buildings in the city centre. The Cathedral contains four famous Pre-Raphaelite stained-glass windows designed by Sir Edward Burne-Jones. The popular churchyard, now beautifully restored, has a perimeter of cast-iron railings, with a double row of plane trees.
