Things to see and do

All this and much more including a trip through the fantastic Wolves Museum!

Wolverhampton Art Gallery

With over 300 years of art and over 18,000 collection items on show, you’ll find everything from old masters to locally made steel jewellery and modern visual arts masterpieces inside Wolverhampton Art Gallery. The most popular of all are its selection of iconic works in the British and American Pop Art collection from seminal artists Andy Warhol, Peter Blake, Roy Lichtenstein and Richard Hamilton among others.

Wolverhampton Grand Theatre

First opening its doors in 1894, the Wolverhampton Grand has wowed visitors for over 125 years. As the only traditional theatre in the Black Country, visitors can wonder at the beautiful Victorian architecture before taking a seat in its intimate three-tiered auditorium for a show. A popular venue on the touring circuit, theatre goers can choose from drama, musicals, ballet, dance, opera, variety and concerts taking place throughout the year.

Bantock House Museum

Restored to its Edwardian glory, Bantock House is a hidden treasure set within 43 acres of parkland and surrounded by delightful formal gardens. Step back in time and discover the fascinating history of the inhabitants that lived in Bantock House while immersing yourself in the original features and artwork of this beautiful building.

Wightwick Manor and Gardens

Travel just outside of the city centre to see unique visitor attractions unlike anywhere else in the UK. Wightwick Manor and Gardens, just 3 miles from Wolverhampton centre, is one of the few surviving examples of a late Victorian private home furnished under the influence of the Arts and Crafts movement with interiors cloaked in William Morris designs and adorned with Pre-Raphaelite art. The exterior of the manor is equally striking with its ornate barley twist brick chimneys and terracotta brickwork.
