Novotel has marked its 30 years on Broad Street by unveiling its refurbished hotel, restaurant and gourmet bar, and Westside BID was there to film the relaunch.

General manager Alfredo Rabadan proudly explained how the venue could now host events for up to 300 people, with improved disabled access and five electric car parking spaces.

Speaking above the hubbub at the busy event last week, Mr Rabadan said: “We are back – and we are very pleased to be here on Westside.”

Westside BID director Gerald Manton attended the relaunch and said: “What a fantastic venue! It looks brilliant, sounds great and the food’s amazing.

“I think it’s very important that we BID directors come out and show our faces in the venues on Broad Street, showing them that we’re here to support them.

“Thirty years ago, Novotel made an investment into Broad Street, and here we are thirty years later and they have reinvested into a gourmet bar.”
