The Belfry Hotel & Resort has had another outstanding result at the 28th annual World Travel Awards after retaining its title as England’s Leading Resort for the 6th consecutive year.

The World Travel Awards acknowledge, reward, and celebrate excellence across all key sectors of the travel, tourism and hospitality industries, and The Belfry Hotel & Resort excelled over some of the country’s finest hotels.

Commenting on The Belfry’s win, Gail Aldridge, Marketing Director at The Belfry said “We are honoured to have once again received this coveted title. This award is testament to the talent, commitment, and dedication of the whole team at The Belfry who ensured we continued to offer our guests a fantastic experience in particularly challenging times. We would like to wholeheartedly thank everyone who voted for us.”

The Belfry continued to invest in new facilities to improve the overall resort experience. This included the launch of the brand-new Wellness Studio for yoga, meditation, and relaxation classes, and new and improved gym with a state-of-the-art spin studio, and the PGA Golf Academy underwent a transformation offering a new bar area, custom fitting suites and the addition of Toptracer tech, placing the resort on the map as a premier practice destination.

The awards acknowledged The Belfry’s high-quality service and exceptionally high standard of facilities, which includes 319 luxurious bedrooms and suites, several restaurants and bars including the Ryder Grill and Brabazon Bar, events and meetings spaces, a leisure club, and The Belfry Spa, which offers guests the hotel’s famous Fire & Ice Experience. The hotel’s three golf courses, including The Brabazon and The PGA National, which are recognised as world-class, having previously hosted The Ryder Cup four times – more than any other venue in the world – and 19 European Tour events, producing some of the most dramatic moments in the history of golf.
