Birmingham’s Heritage Week is back for 2021. From 9 - 19 September the popular city-wide festival will shine a spotlight on Birmingham’s fascinating history with some of the city’s hidden gems and most important heritage locations opening their doors for walks, talks, tours and much more.

During the 11-day festival local people and culturally curious tourists to the city can explore and learn more about Birmingham’s past.  Events will be in-person as well as online and highlights for this year include a tour of St Mary’s College, Oscott – a Catholic seminary and stunning building dating from 1838.  The National Grid will be hosting hard-hat tours of Birmingham’s famous (and soon to be demolished) Windsor Street Gasholders and at Moseley Road Baths, visitors can go behind-the-scenes on a guided tour of the Grade II* listed Edwardian swimming pool.

A full list of events will launch at birminghamheritageweek.co.uk on Monday 9 August.
