This spring, popular restaurant group Rosa’s Thai Cafe will expand its portfolio with the much-anticipated launch of its first Midlands restaurant. Located at Two Chamberlain Square, in the city-centre the new restaurant will sit at the heart of Birmingham’s new Paradise development, overlooking the historic Town Hall and Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery.

Rosa’s Thai Cafe first opened in London’s Spitalfields in 2008 under celebrated Thai chef Saiphin Moore and her entrepreneur husband Alex, bringing Saiphin’s vibrant and fresh Thai dishes to London’s East End. The launch of Rosa’s Thai Cafe Birmingham marks the 23rd opening for the group, which currently holds sites in London, Leeds, Manchester and Liverpool.

The 80-cover restaurant will be open for lunch and dinner seven days a week, bringing Rosa’s Thai Cafe’s signature dishes to the Midlands for the first time, including Saiphin’s signature red butternut curry with sweet basil and drunken noodles with galangal. Rosa’s Thai Cafe also offers an extensive selection of vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and halal dishes, making Rosa’s a welcoming, go-to environment for all dietary requirements.

Of the launch, Managing Director Gavin Adair said: “For us, the offer at Paradise was too good an opportunity to miss and we are extremely happy with the setting of our new restaurant overlooking Centenary Way. We can’t wait to welcome Brummies into our new space later this year and look forward to showing them our authentic, award-winning Thai food”.

Rob Groves, Regional Director of Argent, Development Managers for Paradise, added: “Rosa’s is an outstanding new addition to Birmingham’s dining scene and we can’t wait to welcome the team to their new home in Two Chamberlain Square.

“We’re confident Rosa’s Thai Cafe will be a sure fire hit with both locals and visitors alike. With Rosa’s joining the previously announced Dishoom and Vinoteca, we are very proud that Paradise is now bringing a broad range of great, new restaurants to the city.”
