With the peak of the January blues, the third Monday in January known as ‘Blue Monday’, approaching this week, the National Sea Life Centre Birmingham is bringing back its best ever ticket discount to try and lift the mood this weekend.

The Birmingham aquarium is offering a huge saving of 60% on tickets, giving visitors the chance to purchase tickets online for only £8.00 per person, as well as the option to upgrade their ticket to include a visit to the city’s newest attraction, Legoland Discovery Centre, for just £10 extra per person.

The exclusive ticket will go on sale from 18th January through until to 11:59pm on Blue Monday, 21st January. Ticket allocations will be limited and only available to use weekdays during term time until 23rd March 2019, making this a great deal for families and friends across the region looking for a fun, affordable day out.

‘Our Blue Monday ticket sale will only be available to buy on The National Sea Life Centre website, with a limited amount available for sale on allocated dates,’ explains Amy Langham, General Manager of the attraction.

‘This is a really exciting deal and one of our biggest ever discounts. We’re giving our visitors the chance to grab a bargain and plan an exciting day out to Birmingham’s only aquarium, or even upgrade to see the Midlands’ newest attraction, Legoland Discovery Centre. What better place to have a Blue Monday than in our 360 underwater ocean tunnel?’

The National Sea Life Centre based in Brindleyplace, Birmingham, is home to over 2000 creatures, including a colony of Gentoo penguins, black-tip reef sharks, a giant green sea turtle and more, many of which have been rescued or successfully bred as part of the global Sea Life breeding initiatives.
